Light:
Bright, Indirect Light or Partial Shade. This plant will do well when placed behind a curtain or under Patio. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves. It can survive in low-light rooms, making it great for offices or rooms with limited natural light.
Water:
Only water when the Soil looks and feels dry. It might be around 7-10 days. Overwatering will kill the plants. Water the Soil not the Leaves. Since pothos are drought-tolerant, and it's better to underwater than overwater. The plant will wilt when thirsty, but it quickly revives after watering.
Temperature:
Ideal temperatures for Pothos will be between 60-85°F (16-29°C). Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C). Pothos prefer moderate to high humidity but can adapt to normal indoor levels. You can mist the plant occasionally, especially in dry climates.
Propagate:
The best and easiest way to propagate is by Stem Cutting. Cut 1-2″ below a node and fill up a jar with water. You’ll see roots growing within 3-4 weeks.
After 4 weeks, Add a tablespoon of Soil 1 day at a time until you fill up the pot with soil. It does take a while depending on the size of the pot but it is the safest and most success rate. Pruning: Trim back long vines or leggy growth to encourage bushier growth. Pothos are fast growers and will benefit from occasional pruning.
Some people believe in cleaning leaves, you can do so by wiping the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep the plant breathing well.
Pests:
Pothos are generally pest-resistant but may occasionally attract spider mites, mealybugs, or aphids. Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
If your Pothos Leaves are turning yellowing, it might be due to overwatering, poor drainage, or lack of light can cause leaves to yellow. Adjust care to fix this issue.
